Summary: We needed a site that would not only be functional, but would convey the essence of our chosen theme. Our graphic designer, Rachael Biddle, did a wonderful job on the brochure (go to download section on the site to view). She went for a daytime feel, and I decided to complement her "Journey" concept with a night traveler feel, using many of the same elements that she did. I was going for a Tolkien-esque aesthetic, because the films were fresh in my mind. I can't imagine a better picture of the beginning of a dangerous and glorious journey than that night when Frodo and Sam snuck away from the Shire in The Fellowship of the Ring.
